1969 Nova front sway bar diameter

Does anyone know the diameter of the original front sway bar/stabilizer bar on a 396/350 hp 4sp 1969 Nova SS. I believe it might be 11/16", but I am not sure. The car is not with me to actually measure same.

Thanks, Rick

I have a 72 Nova SS and mine is 13/16" dia., so i would think it was the same for the rest of third gen. Nova SS's.

I believe they are 11/16", and might have been larger if it was optioned with the F41 suspension package.

[/ QUOTE ] Allen,
That could very well be,because my 72 SS has the F41 suspension.I will have to check my 70 L34 sometime on the size which is the F40 type.
