Re: 1111500 DIST

I think it's for a big block truck in 69 or 70.

Re: 1111500 DIST

I looked in the chevy by the numbers book and couldn't find it. It looks like it is a 2B11 date. An internet search of the number turned up nothing??????

Re: 1111500 DIST

I looked in an old parts book and it shows the 1111500 as:
68 Pass. (327 w/reg fuel).

Obviously yours is not dated for that year.

Re: 1111500 DIST

I double checked 2B11 ???????

Thats weird The only thing that came up online was a shop

http://www.proactionperformance.com.au/home.htm

They call it a "Dissy"

"RESTORE YOUR HK HT HG HQ MONARO CHEV V8 DISSY!
Part numbers 1111150 and 1111500 plus many more!"

Re: 1111500 DIST

From what I see 1111500 shows up under various years in small block application from 1966 up I would guess it is a service replacement part https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Carl
Your's would be considered a OTC service replacement based on the date stamp of 1972,February 11th,because it was originally installed on:
*1964-67 All w/283cid.
*1967-68 Pass.w/327cid.
*1968 Chevelle/Chevy II w/283-327cid.(But not w/Spcl. Hi-Perf 327).
*1969 Series 10-30 truck w/396cid.

Re: 1111500 DIST

That didn't come out right.Let me rephrase it.
That distributor # was originally intended for any 1969 Series 10-20-30 truck w/396cid.But based on your date of 1972,February 11th,it's seen as a later issued service replacement.

It was also a recommended OTC field service replacement for any 1964-67 Chevrolet vehicle w/283cid. AND 1967-68 larger Passenger series w/327cid. AND 1968 Chevelle/ChevyII w/283 & 327cid.,but NOT including the Spcl.Hi-Perf 327.
Hope that explains it better.
