Ignition coil

I have an ignition coil that is embossed with 429 on my numbers matched L35 camaro. The car was built the first week of Dec. 68. What is the application of this coil because I thought this was a high horse coil? Any idea if a L35 car would have had one of these 429 coils from the factory? Thanks, Mark

I was told the 429 is for a copo or 375hp but I want to make sure I have the right one for my car and wonder why this one is on my car.
