chevelle rims
I just looked at the dates on a set of extra set of wheels I have and found out that the dates are 7 11 YA
Are these wheels for a 1968 car? pj http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/i.../wheeels-1.jpg |
Re: chevelle rims
I've never heard of a YA dated that early for 1968,but anything is possible.
7-July 11-Day YA-model application What's the stamp to the left of the number 7..? It should reveal the FINAL assembly date code,as in M5 over the number 9 for 1969,or 8 for 1968. |
Re: chevelle rims
Yes I see the small number its M1 over 9 then 7 11 YA
so 1969 july 11 ?? PJ |
Re: chevelle rims
They are probably for an early 70 vehicle....seems a little too late for 69 model year....but, ya never know. Novas used these wheels also for the 1970 SS cars.

Re: chevelle rims
I have had an early 70 Chevelle with YA wheels on the vehicle and the buildsheet. October built El Camino L78 from Baltimore plant so yes they could have been used on a 70 vehicle.

Re: chevelle rims
could be for a very late 69 chevelle SS also possibly a copo as a lot of them were built late in the model year.

Re: chevelle rims
That's a possibility too.
My 70 Chevelle was assembled Oct.24th,1969 at Kansas Leeds plant, and came with YA coded rims also. |
Re: chevelle rims
