Question on Z16s
What's the jury saying these days on this car? 200 hardtops + 1 ragtop? Or is that simply a rumor?

Re: Question on Z16s
Yep, that's still the consensus. There's also that extremely rare 1-of-1 Chevelle 300 2-dr sedan with a 396-425 HP solid lifter'ed engine whereas the standard Z-16's had hydraulic camshafts. The single convertible has been the subject of speculation for many years. I wanna say first-hand account eye-witnesses have reported that the car was tannish/beige and was not Red/Yellow/Black. It's probably safe to say that if that car surfaced from some dusty, alley garage, it would be a million-dollar car, kinda like that single, documented '68 Z/28 convertible.

Someone reported some time ago on this board, that he knew that the convertible hit a pole (or something like that) back in the day and was badly injured. I donīt know how to find that thread.
