1969 Impala 4-speed parts & 12 bolt rear

I am looking for parts from a 69 Impala, Belair, Biscayne or Caprice to do a 4-speed conversion on a 1969 Bel Air .

I need the following:

1) Muncie bench seat shifter arm (differs from console shifter arm by about 1" shorter)

2) original '69 non-console shifter boot

3) chrome shifter boot trim ring

4) '69 4-speed transmission hump

5) 1969 floor shift steering column

I would also love to get my hands on a '69 12-bolt with 3.31 gears and a posi in it in good condition.

Thanks.

Tom, those boots are REAL pricey! ( Also the other parts!)
Have you posted this on the ss427 site?

I put a post on there for some photos of the shift arms and a few other parts. I mention in the post that I'm looking for them.

And yes, it's ridiculous that I'm spending much more for these parts than I did for the car.

Tom, if you PM 67BelAir427, he probably has pictures of the shift arms.

Here's a possible rear on peebait: item # 270523249467 (not mine); B-body, 12-Bolt, 3:31 posi. For $250, certainly worth a look. Why is all the good stuff always up Nawth? Good luck, BCD.

OK, so I found a shift arm on eBay. Absurdly expensive, but grabbed it because they're so darn hard to find. Is a bench seat arm as well, so I got want I needed.

I think I have a column lined up--somone here from the boards has contacted me--just waiting to hear back.

I think the next thing I need to find is a correct transmission shift hump. They're pretty strange looking...here's a pic....

I appreciate it, Rick. I have my eye on the one posted on eBay at the moment as it's close to me here in NYC. As I'll be moving back to Phoenix at some point in the near future, I can bring it back with me. It'll look great in my apt in the meantime. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

If it falls through, I'll let you know.

The Z bar is special for a 69 with a cutout to clear the column. I didn't see that on your list. I'm also looking for a 68 floor shift ring as well need an original one fro my 427 Biscayne. I used a Chevelle one in my 69 427 Caprice when I got the parts to bench seat 4 speed it !!! A lot easier and cheaper to use the chevelle hump and bezel worked fine and looks stock !!!!
