Mopar guys: Hemi manuals
Any of our resident Mopar guys have any old manuals that outline how to cc the dome of a Hemi piston?

Re: Mopar guys: Hemi manuals
I think Terry can tell you who to get into contact with. He got the info from a NHRA tech guy.

Re: Mopar guys: Hemi manuals
LOL...John, I know how to do it, you know how to do it, my kids know how to do it...I'd just like to see the procedure outlined in the chrysler manual, as to show it's not just "black magic"...!
(btw, I know the procedure was in a manual somewhere, as I saw a post about it a couple years ago at moparts, but I can't find it now because their search feature only goes back 1 year.) |
Re: Mopar guys: Hemi manuals
Shouldn't you should be able to check dome volume the same way you do with any other engine. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

Re: Mopar guys: Hemi manuals
I didn't want to admit this but I have some manuals from 66/67/68. I will check them.
Whats up with this Rob? Its the same as any other engine. |
Re: Mopar guys: Hemi manuals
I guess it is a mystery, none of the manuals had that type of info. There was no mention of any race HEMI stuff, just the street hemi.

I have the piece that was put out by RTS that shows how to modify/tune your hemi for sanctioned racing. I seem to remeber a piston diagram??? Won;t get to it till next weekend. Are you familiar with this? John |
