I just bought this one-owner, original paint, power pack, radio-delete BelAir from there. It's on its way home now.

Enumclaw had to be the major sticks back in '57, I would love to see a main street pic, could not have been much, heck it was still up to about 10/15 yrs ago, it was where you went to build a big house and shop on 5 acres and commute to work.

there was a Paulsons back in the day that sold motorcycles in the area, same family? Just going off memory but they ran TV adds all the time, I can visualize his smoking hot wife walking through the floor displays pitching the bikes and specials going on.

call the guy up, may have been Grandpas lot.

man it looks like you bought a neat car share with us the goods on it!!.

Looks like Bud may be on the right track w/ the family connection as the link he provided notes...

"...In 1906 two brothers just in from Norway, Tom and Bert Paulson, opened their first store on 11 Th. and K street in Tacoma Washington. They started business selling and repairing jewelry and bicycles. In 1911 they started selling Thor motorcycles. Bert and Tom split the business, Bert made the transition into appliances, televisions (when they came out) and furniture, while Tom went into the car business ..."
