SCCA Camaro?
|
Re: SCCA Camaro?
For anyone interested, this car is NOT eligible to race with the West Coast Historic Trans-Am cars at Laguna Seca, Sears Point (Infineon), etc. It did not run any Trans-Am races in the '66-'72 era that would have made it eligible.

Re: SCCA Camaro?
I believe not only did car have to run in Trans Am during the period, I believe it had to run either 4 or 5 T/A races in a given season in order to qualify for the Historic T/A class .

Re: SCCA Camaro?
Van,
I believe that is with the vintage IMSA cars but that is not a requirement with Historic Trans-Am cars of the '66-'72 era. I know of cars with only one race run in all of those years and they are still eligible. The car above doesn't even have one T/A race run in that era so it is not eligible. -Jon |
