replacement carpet question

Just had a question: when replacing your carpet, who do you guys use for your 80/20 loop carpet? Is ACC the best way to go, or for those available, are the OER Classic Industry carpets better?

Also, I actually am posting this with question to the jute backing that I've seen on many of the repro carpets. There was only the floor insulation with the carpet laying on top of it originally, correct? If this is the case, can I simply get a carpet without the jute backing?

Thanks.

Re: replacement carpet question

I use ACC for all my carpet needs. I have a few shots on my website...

scroll down to section 2, interior restoration.

Dan, do the carpets have the jute attached or do you get your carpets without?

Re: replacement carpet question

Its a two step installation and frankly, if you do not trim the jute accordingly, the carpet is never going to fit right. I've never bought a muscle car kit though, only interior kits for plastic cars...

It might be different, just a fair warning.
