Looking for good restorer in Ontario for 1970 L78

I was wondering if any of the Canadian guys knew of a good place in Ontario to restore a 1970 L78 Camaro? Looking for a reputable shop that knows how to properly restore Camaros and has a good fabricator on staff. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

You might want to check with Paul in southern Ontario. He goes by firez here on the web site. I owned a car that he painted and his friends restored. The workmanship was great, if they can not do the work I bet they know somebody that can.

Be carfeul of Stoney Creek, Ont area , couple of different restorers. Be very careful of Erin, Ont. poor workmanship and expensive bill, most work shown was never actually done there. Also a well known camaro restorer out the Oshawa area with lots of history " that is suspect". I do not own a shop but if want to send# and pick my brain you are more than welcome. Send PM with contact number.

I am out in eastern Canada - Newf - Car would be transported to the shop. So I don't have the luxury of "dropping in" every once in a while unfortunately.

Chris at Rods Restorations & Customs does top notch work, and I would recommend him to anyone. He works on all of my Motion cars, and is finishing my '71 Z28 ZL1 Camaro right now. Oh, and BTW he will come and pick your car up and return it too. Give him a call 937-339-8229.

With the dollar almost at par, don't limit yourself to Ontario. There are very good and reputable places in the U.S. which you should consider.

You might want to give Sherry Custom Autos in Warsaw, Ontario a call. He has done the old rare stuff like Mercedes, Auburn and, More recently, several Marmon 16s. His restorations have gone to Pebble Beach and other big shows and they have been consistent winners. Once in a while he will bring a finished car across the river to the local Warsaw cruise night or if the weather isn't the best, he will have an open house at his shop for the cruise night people to walk over and see the projects. My pockets have never been deep enough for his level or work.
