lol:
"Note the damage in the center of the trunk. Looks like the entire body has been tweaked," http://www.lazlographics.com/images/Inet500/Prear.jpg It is the factory crease in the trunk lid, the "entire body" was not tweaked simple repair compared to restoring a rusty or bent hulk, NOT a "totaled" car IMHO |
Re: Heartbreaking '68 Shelby Destroyed
that could be easily repaired..

Re: Heartbreaking '68 Shelby Destroyed
Jim, I was just trying to show the (barely visible) crease in original photo. I think there are more reflections in the black paint than damage in the "after" photo.

Re: Heartbreaking '68 Shelby Destroyed
-----I may be wrong but isnt the entire trunklid on a 67/68 Shelby made out of fiberglass??? It would be torn or ripped if it had damage, not dented. I think the picture in question is just showing reflections.
-----Also, as I have said before, more than one state considers almost any damage to the roof to total a car. I know it seems implausible, but its true.......Bill S |
Re: Heartbreaking '68 Shelby Destroyed
