Just looks like someone put a engine together. Not 40 years ago since those valve covers weren't around.

It has all newer ARP 12 point attaching hardware as well. Definitely put together.

-----Heads are studded! Nice motor but what would you put it in? Probably best in a clone of some sort. Be nice in one of those Cheetas though, wouldnt it??? Roughly 1800 lbs and about 675 HP. Just about right, dont ya think?
One thing is probable though. It wouldnt raise the value of any car more than the price of the engine.......Bill S

after reading the ebay ad, it states it was rebuilt ( duh..like we didnt notice). its listed at 50K on ebay, thats a little pricey wouldnt you say? i could get a mega inch sonny leonard motor for that kinda money.

I don't see "rebuilt" anywhere except for the carb

Condition:
New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging

Re: Yenko ZL-1 never-fired on ebay.

The ebay "condition" section is new and a problem in my opinion. Many sellers will select used and state in the description that the item needs a complete overhaul. The used condition states that the item is fully functional. I think the "condition" area needs to be removed in the parts scetion. Just a pet peeve.

This engine is obviously rebuilt with newer components. The gear reduction starter, head studs, alternator brackets, etc. are a dead giveaway. The trans is also stated as a rebuilt unit.

A cool setup none the less.

Happy Holidays,

Jason

I agree Jason, just another attempt for ebay to shot themselves in the foot...

It seems to me that e-bay has been aiming a little higher for the last several months/years.
