can anyone provide me with a part number for a fan for a l78 and are real ss396 l78 fans available. thank you

The Parts Place Inc. has a nice re-pop. The originals are scarce and expensive. Beware, people are selling these that are close but not correct. I have never seen a orig. with a part number stamped on it so you need to know what you are looking at before paying good money. The part number is in the AIM. There is also an over the counter replacement that will fit 2 water pump bolt patterns,8 Hole.

I have one of those service replacement fans...8 holes to fit different bolt patterns...there is a stamping on the back, I think it is TW-1.

Blades and rivets are the same...

As for the part numbers...I have seen them posted before...one of the gurus has them...Mr 70, Marlin, Greg Roberts...

I think there are still a couple of 5 blades in the barn...I'll look and send a photo if someone needs it.
