64 Impala Temp Sending Unit
 

A friend has a 64 Impala SS with a 327/300 and is having a hard time trying to find a correct temperature sending unit. This is the unit for the hot and cold lights. Any of the Implas guys here know where to find this unit?

Thanks Jake but that is not the correct part. The one we need has 2 prongs for the red and green lights on the dash. I do appreciate the response and effort.

I will check the parts cabinet tonight. My dad was and old impala guy and he shocks me what he pulls out of this cabinet. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/laugh.gif[/img]

Ok I looked quick tonight and found one with 2 prongs on it but I think it is an oil pressure switch. It has 1/8 inch pipe threads. Does this unit look like the one above in the link but with 2 prongs? Does it thread into the head.

Jason, Thanks for looking. I found a used one on Ebay butWe would like to find a new or NOS one. The picture below is the Ebay one.

ok I will look he may have a new one in that magic cabinet I will let you know what I find out.
