valve spring pressure

I am getting some conflicting stories with valve spring pressure. I'm running a .710 lift solid roller with mostly street driving, burnouts, and some track time. I don't plan on spinning this motor much more than 7,000-7,500 rpms. I'm being told to run a spring with roughly 250 seat and 700+ open pressure. I'm also being told to run roughly 200-250 seat and no more than 400 open pressure. I was also told to run a rev kit with the smaller spring pressure. I think the big open pressure would kill the valve trane on a street motor. Any opinions or success stories?

Re: valve spring pressure

BTW the cam card has no specs for spring pressure. Its an older (but new) special grind cam.

Check with whatever manufacturer ground the cam.
