----I dont have a lot of info yet but wonder who here would have an interest in a 1967 Shelby GT500 barn-find. I have been told that it has the original drivetrain and a bit over 40,000 miles but needs a bunch (body-wise). I only saw the car from a distance at a local car show on a dolly, but later was told by the owners neighbor that the car can be bought. I have no price at this time but would be happy to follow up. Its dark blue now and has no stripes showing from the distance I saw it from, so I cant say definitivly what color it was originally.........Bill S

Hey Bill - It sounds like the project car the a Shelby friend of mine is going to pick up in Michigan. Are you sure that it's still for sale? Maybe not the same car, but sounds the same. bergy

-----Could be, Bergy. I have no idea where he might have it advertised or even "IF" he does. Im just about 50 miles northeast of Detroit on the St.Clair river if thats where hes headed. I saw his neighbor again today and he said someone had offered the guy $25,000 and an $8,000 car for the Shelby and the guy hadnt made a decision weather to take it or not. If you see your friend before he goes, tell him the guy is supposed to be a bit hard to get along with.....Bill S
