Frank Laughlin
Ladies/Gentlemen:
I regret to inform you that my brother-in-law, Dennis Laughlin, lost his father, Frank today. He succombed to a long-time struggle with heart disease and passed in his sleep early this morning. Frank was one of those people who just made you smile as soon as you saw him. He was a WWII Veteran and served his country proudly as a bombardier with the Air Force. He spent most of his professional career with SkilSaw and retired from there. He would tell the most wonderful stories of his days in the service and in the marketplace. His memory was phenomenal and he could recall exact details, names and dates. They don't make them like Frank Laughlin anymore. Obviously, arrangements have not been made by the family yet but should be posted in the Chicago papers or the Northwest Herald. Say a prayer or tip-a-cup to a wonderful serviceman, father and grandfather. Frank will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him and was 86 years old. Ed |
Re: Frank Laughlin
Sad news Ed. Sorry for your loss and indeed a bad day when one of the "greastest generation" passes. Rest in peace Frank.
