Fall Mecum Auction 2011 in St. Charles IL
 

Great day here in IL and I made my annual trip to St. Charles to the Mecum auction. Both quantity and quality were down this year in my opinion and prices over all were down too. The really nice cars were bringing fair money, but nothing like a few years ago...market still very soft. Here are the pics I took of some of my favorites in no particular order....

next stop was to see what my friend Mr. Bimby had in the works and he did not disappoint!!! He had two new creations there, one a convert and they are both just stunning! I really admire what he and his crew at Nickey Chicago are doing with the new Camaros....you be the judge.

last one...pretty rare 1970 Falcon 429 SCJ track pack and the "shaker" hood...I've never seen one of these before....enjoy!
