L88 stamping?

1 Attachment(s)
This engine stamping looks a little rough to me. Opinions? It is in a '67 L88 clone that I am looking at in florida...engine is being touted as a real IT code L88. Thanks in advance for your expertise.

Wow, that picture is really not good enough to determine much.
I don't see a broach, I can't read the numbers, either.

Can you help with the numbers, looks like T0911IT. The 9 may be an 8.

you are correct T0811IT

the surface seems really, really rough with no broach, as you said

Do you know the casting date of the block? Is it a 3904351 casting number?

-----I just looked at a block like this. It was buried half way in the ground for about 10 years and the pad looked very similar, maybe a bit worse. All the innards were out of the block and the cylinder walls, lifter bores, etc. looked horrible. Guy was touting the car as having the original engine with the car and rebuildable,,,,,,not!!!.....Bill S
