Body panel repair

Ran across a door really cheap. Was in a fire. Any reason it shouldn't be used ? Just clean it up and it should be good as new correct ?

Depending upon the level of heat it experienced, it could be warped out of shape. Are you able to bolt it up to see if it lines up anymore?

Is the factory applied primer inside it affected? If it is, it could start the rust process from the inside out.

Local guy restored a Thunderbolt that was in a HOT fire. Most said it was unrestorable but he did right by it, retaining all the sheetmetal that wasn't absolutely destroyed by the fire. He had trouble getting paint to stick to some of the heat-affected sheetmetal and had to use some aircraft quality primer to stick to it and provide a base. Its still holding up well last I heard.
