NICE! A 1977 Can Am. Those are so cool. 400 Pontiac engine and a shaker, 4 speed or automatic. Very limited production due to the rear spoiler mold breaking and forcing the cancellation of the model halfway through the year.

I love these also. There is a 4spd in a barn near me sitting on its belly (contractor working on my house has it). It rough, but maybe I should rethink that car.

MCR recently did an article on one. I was surprised at how rare they are.

It's basically the 77 Trans Am on a larger platform with a real back seat.

Steve this one had 455 on the shaker
very clean car and all there saw it a few times

They NEVER came from the factory in a 4spd.

I guess the one i saw last year was converted over then. Great cars nonetheless.

You probably saw mine Steve. I bought it from a guy that worked for gm and he was very anal about building the most correct one of none car built. He used everything from a 74 Grand Am and the trans was a date coded 77 trans out of a TA. It was spectactular.

ok I am standing next to this car today
this one IS a 4 speed and by the looks of it this
was not an add on looks to be a factory
set up
