Day 2 & Street Freak Paint Thread
Very nice, subtle paint circa 73-74 on a A&A Channel Ram hood scoop. Swirls and ribbon painting(not endless lines) done in candies and pearls was very popular in that time period. Metalflake was pretty much dead by then.

A 68 RR that was in my area back in 1973-1974.
The Polaroid is really faded from age but if you look at the front of the front fender you can kinda get a feel for what the paint looked like on the car. It also had red, orange, green etc swirls and ribbons on the side which has faded on the pic with time. http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/...roadrunner.jpg |

This Nova was at the Fort Atkinson Show this summer. The story I heard is that it's been sitting for 30 years and just came out of storage.

Any shots of the L-88 hood on that 68 Nova?

Re: Day 2 & Street Freak Paint Thread
Cool Nova. Is that a mural on the side panels??
Car would look good with some sort of slogan or name on the side done in gold leaf to break up the expansive side panel. |
