Day 2 Headers?
Post up some pictures of Day 2 Headers. I did a quick search and did not find much. I want to paint or wrap my old hooker super comps and just seeing what would look better. I have found mostly white painted here on the site.

Mine are Cyclones that were run on this car from day two. I had them flat-white jet hot coated. I wrapped the front pipe due to close proximity to the ignition wire & temp sender line.

I'm also going to do mine in the ceramic white. I've never saw a picture of the old Cragar headers. Were they really blue?

Re: Day 2 Headers?
I really don't know much about the old Bill Thomas built cars, but would love to see this one discussed. Spoke to the owner who said the headers on the car were originally blue. I don't think these are the original ones, but they did try to keep in the spirit of how the car was built.

I saw that Jet-Hot is now offering blue ceramic coating among other colors.

Re: Day 2 Headers?
I'm a big fan of the white myself. I had spoken to an older drag racer and he told me that white was a very " HOT" color for headers. Hot as in temp hot, not as in cool??? I wouldn't think that header paint, back then , wouldn't make a bit of difference in temp?
