Black Oil Pressure Line -

I'm working on my 69Z with console gauges car. Im replacing the orig black plastic line with a new one. I ordered one from HBC and their plastic line inside diameter is significally smaller than the orig. Is this a problem that i should worry about - will it effect the gauge reading ?

Appreciate the advise

Eddie
No it should not be a problem. I would fill the oil line with some very thin lube oil, like a 3 and one oil, pump it in with a oil can. Your gage will respond quicker with the thin oil in the capillary line.
