69 Z leaf spring refurbish

1 Attachment(s)
My leaf springs are not bad, but wanting to refurbish them.

Does anyone sell the CORRECT slider (or silencer), part number 3935737. Four required per side, 8 total.
The kit that heartbeat city sells looks like the correct clamps and rivets, but not the sliders.

The ones in the hbc kit look like the ones I got from Eaton DS.

If no one makes the correct part, any chance anyone has some extras? I need 2, but would like to have 4.

Attached a pic of one of the old ones along with the part I recieved from Eaton Detroit Spring.

Well, thanks to James, I now know that Eaton sells the correct one now.

I had ordered several years ago, and got the one on the left.
Just ordered the correct ones off their website.

But, clamps still don't look right, so I guess I will make some.

I had that same issue when I decided to rebuild my (5)leaf multi springs on my SS. When I started disassembling them I noticed that the shims weren't exactly in the best of shape so I threw them out but should've kept one for reference. Besides that I familiar with what a correct one looks like. So I went and bought that same rebuild kit from HBC and the plastic shims are dead wrong. It's crazy but on the intruction slip that came with the kit they suggest that you cut the small nibs off in order for them to be installed properly. I thought they should've done their homework first before suggesting that you use the wrong shim for a rebuild...don't you think? Really disgusted with them. By the way, those shims are are for a much later year. I know of a place here in Philly that rebuilds leaf springs for all makes and models, maybe they will have something alot closer than what HBC sent me. Good luck on your project. If I find something real close I'll let you know.

Should have been mores specific.

It is Eaton Detroit Springs. No affiliation with the Eaton posi company.

Item 33C133

They also have clamps, but if I am reading the dimensions correctly, they clamps are not correct, so i made my own.
