69 Chevelle smog vac. line
 
whats the opinion on how these were routed. could the guy on the assembly line do it different ways?
I've seen them tied to the short smog hose and go over the valve cover.

what about tying it to the cross over smog line and going to the carb where the top corner of the valve cover meets the intake?

Good question Donnie. I don't have my AIM with me right now and if I recall correctly i do not think it is specifically detailed in that manual.
