Did anyone use a X-ram 302 at the strip ??
Since the crossram was apparently a bolt on HP boost to the 302, did any old time racers use one at the drags back in the day?? or were they mainly(soley) for the T/A type cars?
How about anyone ever used one now or in the past personally at the strip ?? Any comparison in difference in times/ET ? Can you get them to work, or better just going with the 4 barrel? opinions?? input?? just curious.. thanks, max |

Max,
Are you talking about just the crossram itself or the whole package (cam, etc) -Matt |

the 1967 Z/28 Little Hoss Fred Gibb Herb Fox Camaro used a cross ram in the 1968 AHRA season

Probably Fred Gibb's Little Hoss (AHRA) was the most famous. Don't think NHRA allowed the X-ram because it was an over the counter part.

Don Swiatek, Hi-Performance Manager for NicKey Chevrolet ran one on his '69 Camaro Z28. Will have to look up the class.

My car had the 140 cam, springs and retainers. Retainers are aluminum and best removed! I have not seen dyno numbers but everyone told me they aren't good on the street. The cam itself is pretty ratty
