67 Camaro convertible
 

This is my first car. I have had it since I was 11. This is one of my senior picture proofs. We got the car in 1985 and it has had 13 owners. It has been used hard early in its life. No shame for it. This picture was recently found and my friends passed it around Facebook. Car has a 396 4 speed in it, L88 hood and those famous wheels. can't beat that color with the Cragar combo! BB, 4 speed with a drop top..........heaven!

It is a factory red car. That is where it ends. It has a blowproof bell housing, traction bars and an aluminum flywheel, that got me pulled over once for turning a corner "a little loud". I had a ton of fun and many great memories, as well as the making of my daughter. It now is buried in my garage. Some day it will emerge again. But because it has a special place in my heart it will have to wait. I do miss the blue sky option when driving my 69.

I'm diggin the L-88 hood...I use to see lots of those in my area , esp on second gen cars. Thanks for posting!
