Need help identifying short snout air cleaner

Sorry to be constantly asking for help and hope that I can assist in some manner myself. I've got years and years of parts to go through, attempt to identify the stuff I think could be of some value and get rid of everything. That being said, bought this air cleaner top lid with a parts lot 15 years ago and have no idea what it fits. The snout is very short and the snout has a rubber bushing of some type in it for a pvc valve i'm guessing but don't know. If anyone could help me identfy this breather I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what it's originally from (something from the late 50's to early 60's), but I'd bet the farm that snorkel has been shortened via hacksaw or band saw, which would make it pretty much worthless to anyone trying to restore a car to original condition.

Thanks Bill and you're probably 100% correct. I sort of thought the same thing initally but hadn't seen a snorkle with the rubber bushing and wanted to ask before it went into the scrap pile. Thanks again.

Those single snorkel breathers didn't appear on big Chevys until '62 but they didn't have the deflector inside the snorkel, so it's not Chevy. The stencil is not typical of Chevy either.

A124C is an Oldsmobile filter, used prior to 1968. Came on various, mostly lo-po 330, 350 and 425 two barrel and a few four barrel models, but the only four barrel applications were F85 from 1963 back to 1961.

Old paper AC/Delco/GM books come through again.
