Day 2 Impala
 

Found some old pictures of the '63 my Dad used to own. Here's what it looked like when he picked it up circa-1984. Factory 250/327 4-spd car.

Things to note:

Dark brown Rolls and pleats - everywhere - door panels, package tray, etc.
Coil over shocks for that jacked-up rear look
Old steel slotted mags.
Silly little Cal Custom air cleaner on the stock WCFB
Metal flake steering wheel (covered with a cheesy leather wheel wrap in this photo)
Mr. Gasket shifter with aftermarket boot screwed to the factory hump

He couldn't wait to undo a bunch of those things, but today, I'd probably leave it as-is and cruise! [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img]
