After Yenko moved to the new RT19 Yenko Chevy Dealership, he had a hi po parts business out of the old Cannonsburg building

Yenko sponsored a number of drag cars, road racing , stock cars etc., to promote the engines and parts sales

Yenko part sponsored the 1977 Pat Musi Monza out of NJ

Notes from Draglist.com.........
"'77 Chevrolet Monza by SRD | Powered by Carbureted Gas 505 Yenko Chevrolet by Pat Musi with 4 speed manual transmission
Pat bought the Monza from Don Campanello, who did not like it. Used Ladder Bars. Won 1977 IHRA Springnationals. Qualified 7th at first IHRA Mountain Motor format race at Darlington 1977 at 8.59, 155. Won 1977 IHRA World Nationals. Finished Number 2 in IHRA. "

Smitty operated fairly independently in " Canonsburg ". He survived financially by restoring old sprint and track cars for people like Ed Lowther.

I remember that car from Green Valley Raceway (North Hills Raceway) in PA. On the nights we didn't go to watch we could hear the cars from our yard, we lived less than 5 miles away. I-279 is now where the track was.
