70 big block adjusting bolt for power steering
Hi guys, what's the original bolt head, and did it have a washer for a big block with power steering? Its a half inch bolt that screws into the water pump to adjust the belt tension. Thanks Steve.

On which car? This is a Chevelle. These are both survivor LS6's and both from the Kansas City Leeds plant yet they are different.

Thanks Rick, sorry, was for a CRV built in Baltimore. But I guess all engines came from same place. Was a early built car, probably depends on bolt supplier. Thanks again Steve.

Engines came from the same plant but the power steering pumps were an accessory and added at the individual plant. The plants used multiple fastener suppliers at any given time so it could be a matter of just timing and what was dumped into the bin. I believe the orange overspray on the bolt in the second shot was likely sprayed when the water pump was replaced.
