Z28 firewall I.D.

Is there anything in this arrangement of holes (speedo cable?) and protrusion of emergency brake cable that identifies this car as a '69 Z28?

did the flat hood cars have the ZL2 hole on the fire? If he pulled the back seat wouldn't the "X" designation be on the rear seat frame?

I thought there was something in the positioning of the gas pedal exit in relation to the steering column holes. But I figured out thanks to CRG - you can I.D. a Muncie car, but not specifically a Z.

The single 3/8" fuel line, Muncie speedo hole are good signs but not 100% proof.

the firewall on my 69 Z28. It has a late build of November of 69. See the hole above the fuse box hole for the ZL2 ducted hood and the hole below the fuse box hole for the factory tach. Both are stamped holes and not drilled holes. My car has no console or console gauges. I hope this helps! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...eefirewall.jpg
