street hood scoops
I scored a hood with old school scoop on it for $60 on craigslist, made me start thinking about Day2 car that were raced on the weekend and started slipping into Day3. Anyone else thinking about this? Just thought I would share what's gong on in the garage lately.

Re: street hood scoops
I had a 6.5" high one that was very similar on my 68 back in the 80's. Had the fuel pressure gauge on the cowl, Cragers the whole nine yards. I had a spacer on top of the carb plus a velocity stack that landed someplace inside the scoop. Used it for a week or two and off it came, a bit too much attention for me.

That hood and tow tabs go together peeeerfectly. Great score even to hang on the garage wall.

I picked this up a couple of weeks ago at a swap meet. I love the artwork.

Re: street hood scoops
Had that scoop on my 63 Nova budget bracket race car in the early 80s, was never a streeter while I had it though.
