'69 Yenko-sold Z/28
Neat car, although I'm not sure the premium on a Yenko-sold RPO vehicle is that significant. Obviously, the bidders don't agree with my assessment! :-)
What do you guys think this is worth? http://tinyurl.com/q78pobc http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTAwWDE2MD...VqSYU/$_57.JPG http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFg5MD...VxeB7/$_57.JPG |

Re: '69 Yenko-sold Z/28
I drove this car many times when I worked at Yenko. The original owner's father was a friend of Don and the son became a sales rep at the Dealership after buying the car. He was given a demo car, so this car sat at the Dealership a lot and Dick Gerhardt, the owner, let me drive it to chase parts and run errands. I recall at one time it had a built small block , done by Warren D....lots of cam...hard to get rolling with the 3:73 rear gear but then lookout ! I could tell you some stories ! Mark G.

Very cool Mark! Did the car have the Yenko emblems on it at the time?

Re: '69 Yenko-sold Z/28
Yes, it did. With the cam and the Yenko emblems, a lot of potential street challengers just smiled and drove slowly away !
