Same block my Dad and I used in this thread:
https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...day-2-dyno-day It is a great block. Those numbers are an over-the-counter only block which I think is cool. Maybe the right z28 guy or Corvette person would value it higher but my experience has the between $300-$500. How did you find this one? Do you know what crank or heads it used to have? |

Thanks for the reply. I bought it along with a 272 396 block. Just happened to come across it on craigslist. Just trying to figure out what the block is worth because i have no use for it.

Cool block. Used for quite a few 302 CE engines. There's one in my 1968 Z

Also used for the 68 L79. In either corvette, nova, chevelle, or elcomino. My 68 L79 rolled. The motor just had a constant power band. By far the best small block I ever had.
300-500 should be a good price. |
