barrett jackson auction of fake 69 l78
 

Did anyone else notice the blue 70 L78 chevelle at the b-j auction in palm beach? it was listed as all original with original drive train, but it had factory A/C. car sold for $110k

I don't read where it says original drivetrain,but it obviously isn't a real L-78 based on the A/C.

their description says original KF block. most would see that as meaning original to the car.

also, I mistakenly said it was a 70. it is a 69

I know what you mean,but I read "1969 L78 Chevelle SS 396 with original KF block" as just that,and not saying it's authentic to this car.
Sucks how they skirt around that issue with such a vague reference.
Extremely high price compared to other non-matching like this.Maybe someone just had to have it while ordering another drink.
