1974 gto rear leaf springs

A friend at work has a 74 gto,he's had it for 20 plus years. The rear leaf springs are sagging,upon removal he noticed the left hand stack had 6 leafs and the right 5,it does has factory rear sway bar.is this correct?

I dont think that would be factory no expert but they should be matching. yes on rear sway bar Rare on X-bodys too
