Its not a real 860 housing its a 1970 rearend per the casting number. I actually looked at it in person. When i told the guy what i found he didnt say anything. Beware

I've got a dead mint BV 0328 diff I'd trade for a dead mint BT diff dated late April. No rust or pitting and a super clean housing and carrier.

I have been looking for the right BT April diff but haven't found one yet. Would like to swap them out if I can come up with the right one.

I have a mint BS rear which won't help you but I'm interested in the BV . Let me know what you need for it . Thanks

If you have a 04C car the rear end will probably be closer to 4 15 - 4 18

The rear ends seem to be dated CLOSEST of any components to the car build date.
There are quite a few which are dated EXTREMELY late in relation to car build...

Off the top of my head - I had a 04C with BV 0418 and a 10D with a BV 1031 rear.
I know of a 01B Yenko with a BE 0119

I agree I would rather have a 2nd or 3rd week of April BV. But a late March or 1st week would work for me.

Sorry Mike,

I didn't intend to lead you with the diff as it is not for outright sale. I was simply throwing a bone out in case you might know of a BT coded diff as I would gladly trade for one. It's already been fully restored for use in my car but would give it up on the right swap. It's likely a month early for your car as much as it is for mine and was cast C 12 9 and stamped BV 0321 (not 0328 as I mistakenly typed above). Sorry about that.
