Alternator Wire/Connector Repair
Oops, my loosened alternator dropped and broke off a wire. I'd like to repair this using the existing wire and plastic connector, so I want to proceed carefully without brute force. What's the trick to removing the copper end piece out of the plastic connector? Many Thanks

Re: Alternator Wire/Connector Repair
Look on the left side of each connector in the picture above -- there is a small tab that needs to be depressed and the connector will come out the bottom ... TAZ

Re: Alternator Wire/Connector Repair
Success! Pushed in a screwdriver and got the tab released. The tab was not easy to see especially through some grime, so thanks to TAZ for confirming there actually was a tab there, that gave me the confidence to go for it!
