Help to ID a wierd Spalding BDI distributor...
 

I'm hoping the collective knowledge on this site can help me ID an unusual Spalding BDI distributor and Ignition module that I have... I doubt it is worth much of anything but I just can't figure out what engine it fits.

This was in a box with a bunch of Chevy Hipo distributors and Corvette TI parts I have, but it doesn't look like any Chevy unit that I have ever seen....

It was with some of the old Lola racing parts, but that had a SBC in it so I have no idea what this would fit.

Any of you guys recognize this mounting and shaft configuration? Is it missing some parts like maybe a lower housing section?
