Date on hood
 

I thought the date on the hoods were weekly codes. The hood on my car looks to be a 3 letter code 223. Did they ever do a dailey code ? My car is a early car. It could be a double stamp. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...6-dsc00574.jpg

Might be a Julian date. 223 Would be Aug 11.

Double stamped 23. 23rd week of 1968. Last week of May, 1st part week of June 1968
