My wife was about 1/2 a mile away when the In-n-Out jet went down on approach to John Wayne. The plane got caught up in the turbulence of a 757 (if I remember right) and crashed in the Santa Ana auto mall (My wife was working at Crevier BMW at the time).

Also, the company execs did something that normally isn't done, the president and the vie president were both on the plane that crashed and were killed....
