I came across an original 427/435 block that had it's original pad stamp and the "LW" code. Did some crazy detective work to track down the owner and offered him the block. No price was mentioned. He told me straight up that that couldn't be his block because his original engine was in the car. Makes you wonder.

12% (3,453) of all 1968 Corvettes had that option. What would have been a really rare option would be RPO UA6: Factory installed alarm. Only 388 1968 Corvettes left the factory with it.

Thanks...I should have said there couldn't have been many ordered with both the L89 and speedminder options.
