Looking for 69 Nova, Camaro or Chevelle Roller

Looking for a decent 69/70 Nova, 69/70 Chevelle or 67/69 Camaro roller. Don't need an engine or trans and prefer something really clean w/o any rust through. Something that will make for an excellent foundation for a Day II inspired street car for my kid. Ideally a 69 Camaro coupe would make for a great builder for him to work on as he grows into his teen years.

Will travel to pickup the right rust free car or survivor project? What do you have that you're willing to part with?

Hey, that's great to hear... I hope he's keen!

Over the past decade, I've worked with my oldest nephew to fix up a Garnet Red 1969 Camaro survivor (that I originally had my own plans for); my second oldest nephew and I are working on another Garnet Red 1969 Camaro; now my third and youngest nephew has taken a keen interest in my black 1969 Chevelle so we're looking for a 1968 or 1969 Malibu candidate... and I'm really hoping that my son eventually takes an interest in a project too.

My original deal was, and still is... get an education beyond high school and I'll financially step up to buy them and help them fix up a "basic" musclecar. I never expected it would catch on like this with the others, but so far it's meant a LOT of late nights in the garage ordering pizza and getting to know my nephews (priceless), like I otherwise may not have?

I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya! Hope to see you on the road sometime somewhere...

Thanks Helmut,

The oldest one is pretty keen to start building something behind my Z/28 build. We've been talking about project cars for a while and a 69 car seems to interest him the most. He's been hanging out in the shop with me while learning about engines, and he's truly becoming a little car nut now. I have a couple real nice 350 engines sitting here and a spare 302 as well, so no problem building a motor and transmission for him. I also have plenty of Camaro parts here so that would probably be the best thing to build with him.

He was with me at the NW Nationals a few weeks ago and loved seeing all the fuel cars (and so did my wife which was a complete bonus) after cruising the pits. Here's one from him helping me tear down a 350 that's currently at the machine shop, and one of the family as we exited the pits at the NW Nationals. Hopefully we'll get something started for a build with him next spring and that's why I am starting an early search for a decent roller.

I missed the Okotoks show as I was still on holidays in the US, but should have the 68 at High River next month. Maybe see you there. :)

Thanks for the reminder. I'll try to be there!
