69 Chevelle Gauge Carrier assembly fasteners
 

My carrier assembly had a few fasteners missing so I bought the kit from AMK. What I got were chrome and a combo of black phosphate phillips screw and the U nuts. The U nuts were different styles. So two questions, where do the chrome phillips screws go in the assembly and which style U nut goes where? am assuming the chrome screws go in the top of the assembly and the more flat style (slightly larger) U nut go in the bottom of the frame?

Black screws go around the perimeter and the chrome go at the heater control points.
I'd bet the larger clips go at the heater control area also. I believe all the lower screws are just tapped into the steel frame.
