69 Big Block Nova/CamaroThrottle Rod
Can anyone help identify this throttle linkage rod? I believe this to be correct for the 69 Big Block Nova and Camaro, but I'm looking for verification and opinions. Is this also good for the 69 Big Block Chevelle? Thanks members and SYC.

throttle rod..
Looks like the right part...they were also used in 1968. Pretty sure the Chevelle had a cable.

Don't quote me on that, but I'm almost positive all Novas up til 70 used a throttle rod. I don't recall any, even the 4 and 6 cylinder cars having a cable until the 70 model production. 70 Yenko Deuce guys may be able to confirm this. I would sure be of interest in knowing this for sure. Thanks guys and sYc!

My 68 Nova is an original 6 cyl car that looked to be unmolested when I bought it and it has a cable on it.??????

Throttle linkage...
The throttle rod was used on all BB Novas [68-70]...the factory made several changes mid-year in 70 and starting around Jan 1, 70 all the cars came with a throttle cable.
I know the 6 cyl cars used a cable as well... -wilma |
