Rich Von Kanel's 69 Yenko Camaro
In the March '86 issue of Car Review there is a feature of Rich Von Kanel's Daytona Yellow 69 Yenko Camaro. It appears to be an X44 car with a 4 speed. It has twin under dash gauges and no tach mounted to the dash. The interior picture is black and white so I can't tell if it has an in dash tach or not. In the article it says Rich is from Louisville OH and that the car had 36K miles at the time. Does anybody know which car this is in the registry or anything else about it?
Thanks, Myron |

The car was previously owned by Mick Price and was sold new at Stauffer Chevrolet in Scranton PA. I believe it was N616388. After I made that post I received a PM that Rich still owned the car at that time.

When I sold the Yenko to Rich he still owned every car he ever purchased and that was back in 1984 or 85. I have talked to his Widow and he still owned all them at the time he passed. None of the cars are for sale and in their will the cars are to be inherited by the nephews and nieces and she emphasized they are NOT FOR SALE. The yellow car was a 03B car and should have had a SW tach but at the time I didn't have the tach so I installed the in dash unit. This car was the first Yenko I had ever owned.
