69 Real comfortweave Seat covers...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Camaro...EAAOSwj1VchAFT

This is not a bad deal, We are having SMS make a set of seat covers for the 2nd gen Camaro using NOS comfort weave and the charge is $1300. So 350 for fronts is not a bad price.

If you read through his ad, these appear to be old stock PUI and not GM as his title claims.

These are NEW OLD STOCK Comfortweave material made in the 80's or 90's.I have owned them since the 90's I had bought all PUI stock when I found out it was being discontinued back them and they where working on a replacement that was going to look close to it but would not be 100% correct. Real comfortweave is made out of a weave material the replacement they took vinyl and made a die and stamped it so it looks like a weave its embossed but air can not pass threw it. If you look close you can tell or if you touch it. I am slowly going threw the seat covers and listing them.

Got the same impression, NORS rather than (GM) NOS. But description could be clearer....

I bought a bolt of original seat material for my base-bench seat interior 70 Nova like 30 years ago. Never did know if it was a factory thing, as the aftermarket didn't make covers for the base interior at that time.

That is so misleading, what a scammer.

I am not familiar with the term "NORS". What does it mean? Thanks

Is there anywhere to find NOS comfortweave material? Also, I have original seats in my vert, but a few seams are popping simply because the thread got dried out from the sun. The vinyl is fine. Can these seams be sewn back together?

Yes the seams can be resewn, remove the seat and take it to your local auto trim shop, they can usually pull back the cover and restitch, or even replace a panel which is ripped or torn.

The seat covers listed above were made with NOS comfortweave material long ago... IMHO they are worth what they are asking...given that a new set is running 1300.
I have just ordered a set of 1973 Nuetral comfortweave seat covers made using the NOS original neutral comfortweave from SMS and they are charging 1300 to make them FROM my originals...

SMS has the fabric, they stated they have recently acquired a couple of other suppliers and only integrated their supplies together in the last few months. PErsonally I ordered a few yards of NOS COMFORTWEAVE in Red, Black, and Bright Blue as I want to do a 69-70 Vette with bright blue comfort weave and either a Camaro or Corvette or maybe a GTO with Red Comfortweave.
